What if your characters could walk into a room before you even introduced them?

In this hands-on workshop, you'll move beyond plot and into the heart of what makes a story feel inhabited — the characters who carry it. Through embodiment exercises, improv games, and a collaborative story circle, you'll discover how the oldest patterns in human storytelling can make your characters leap off the stage, or out of thin air.

You'll leave with:

  • A working understanding of the seven core character archetypes — and how to feel them in your body, not just your head

  • Improv tools (Yes, And / One-Word Story) that unlock collaborative and spontaneous creativity

  • A fully developed character profile built in real time with a partner

  • Experience performing a live character monologue

No storytelling experience required. No performance experience required. Just a willingness to play. Tickets: $25-50
