The Roanoke Public Library recently witnessed the enchanting magic of storytelling as the "Let Me Tell Ya!" storytellers captivated first graders and educators alike. Paul, Teresa, and Clint transported their audience with tales that sparked imagination and wonder, impacting young minds.
During this event, Teresa, a retired school librarian, debuted as a storyteller. Initially uncertain, Teresa's courage and passion shone through with the support and encouragement of the Let Me Tell Ya! Storytelling Guild. Her journey began at our June Guild Meeting, where she shared the tale of the Bremen Town Musicians, receiving invaluable feedback and tips on engaging young audiences. Teresa had resounding success, transforming her initial skepticism into a newfound enthusiasm for storytelling.
