Here's something amazing that happened recently at our guild: A member came in with what they called a simple memory titled "Hey Abbott!" It was just a recollection, nothing fancy. But through our community feedback process, that basic memory transformed into something extraordinary—a heartfelt tribute to a father that was so powerful, it ended up being shared at the National Storytelling Network Conference awards ceremony concert.

At the Let Me Tell Ya! Storytelling Guild, we've discovered that the best stories aren't born—they're crafted through a beautiful process of sharing, listening, and gentle refinement. We use a simple but incredibly effective feedback approach that focuses on three key questions:

What resonated with us? We highlight those golden moments when your story created real connection and made us lean in.

Where did we get a bit lost? We gently identify spots where pacing or clarity might need some attention—not to criticize, but to help your story shine brighter.

What left us wanting more? We point out the rich details and emotions that deserve to be expanded, the parts of your story that have even more power waiting to be unlocked.


A Safe Space for Every Storyteller

Whether you're someone who performs regularly or you've never shared a personal story outside your own living room, our guild is designed for you. We meet monthly via Zoom, creating an intimate space where vulnerability is welcomed and growth is the goal.

The format is beautifully simple: bring a 5-7 minute family-friendly story that you're working on. It doesn't have to be perfect (that's the whole point!). It just has to be yours.

  • A story you're working on (5-7 minutes, family-friendly)

  • An open heart and mind
